Motion without Recording

    I noticed that the only time the DVR sets off motion alerts is when it is recording. Is there a way to do this without recording and instead when it is just live? It's not a big deal, but was just curious. Thank you for any responses or feedback.

    Hello Steveo,

    Unfortunately not. The iDVR-e does have to be "monitoring" or recording in order to trigger motion alerts.
