Hi, everyone. Mike, from CCTV Camera Pros here. In this video, I’m going to show you how to disable the infrared LEDs on our Viewtron BNC cameras. So if you want these cameras to always be in color mode, and never engage the IR night vision mode, this is how you do it.

Also, I’m going to be accessing the camera’s on screen display via the DVR that it’s connected to. So this video will also show you how to access the OSD menu of these Viewtron BNC cameras from the Viewtron DVR.

Here’s the live security camera view on the DVR, and I’m going to left-click on the mouse to enable this menu. Then I’m going to click on the PTZ control here.

It’s on this PTZ control menu that you can access the OSD menu of these cameras. So I’m going to click on this icon here, and here’s the OSD of the camera.

I’m going to navigate down to the day night section and press this enter key, and then I’m going to change the auto to color. Then I’m going to navigate back to return, and then on the main menu I’m going to save and exit. When I’m done, I could click on this back arrow down in the lower right. And now I’m back at the live security camera view.

I hope this video’s been helpful. If you have questions about anything, please feel free to reach out to me anytime. I could be emailed directly at Mike@cctvcamerapros.net.
