1080p IP Camera Surveillance Video Demos
Watch these HD video surveillance demos that I recorded using two Viewtron 1080p IP cameras. I tested both cameras in normal light, as well as IR night vision modes. Both of these security cameras are IP67 weatherproof rated for indoor and outdoor installation. For my testing, I installed the dome camera indoors and the bullet outdoors.
Both IP cameras were connected to the same Viewtron IP camera NVR (network video recorder).

Camera Specs
Besides the different style of housing, these two IP cameras are almost identical in specification. Both camera models share these same specs.
- Video Format: H.264, H.265, ONVIF compliant / ONVIF NVR compatible
- Video Output: RJ-45 / Ethernet
- Resolution: 2MP / 1080p ( 1920 × 1080 )
- IR Night Vision: Yes, but different ratings depending on model
- Weatherproof: Yes. IP67 Housing
- Lens: 3.6mm Fixed / 86 Degree
- Audio Surveillance: Varies by model
- Install: Ceiling or Wall Mount. Optional junction box mount.
- SD Card: Yes. Built-in Micro SD Slot
- Power: 12V DC and PoE (Power over Ethernet) supported
These are the differences between these two cameras.
- Infrared Night Vision: The dome camera has an effective IR distance of 20-30 meters. The bullet camera is a bit more powerful at 30-50 meters.
- Audio Surveillance: The dome camera has a built-in audio surveillance microphone, plus 1ch external audio input. The bullet camera only has an external microphone input, no built-in.
